Purpose: BVU’s Board Leadership Program is committed to developing civic leadership and strengthening the community by training and matching qualified professionals onto the boards of local nonprofit organizations.
BVU’s Board Leadership Program is a company-sponsored program that provides nonprofit board training and matching services that lead to strategic connections to the community. BVU trains and then refers highly qualified candidates to the boards of nonprofit organizations. These referrals are based on each candidate’s particular skills, expertise, diversity, qualities, community relationships, interests and passions.
BVU has trained and matched hundreds of business executives and professionals onto nonprofit boards. Because of our training and successful matches many BVU candidates have been asked to serve in leadership positions, as officers and committee chairs.
